Clarification

‌Removing what doesn’t belong,
preparing water for precision treatment.

Clarification is a critical pre-treatment step in water and wastewater processing. It involves the removal of suspended solids, turbidity, and colloidal particles to improve water clarity and protect downstream systems such as filtration, membranes, and disinfection units.

At Roperberk, we implement high-efficiency clarification systems using a combination of:

Coagulation: Destabilizing fine particles using chemical coagulants
Flocculation: Encouraging particle aggregation into larger, settleable flocs
Sedimentation: Allowing flocs to settle under gravity in clarifiers or lamella tanks
Optional DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation): For applications requiring compact, high-rate separation

Our clarification units are engineered for industrial and municipal use, offering:

High solids removal efficiency
Compact footprint and modular design
Compatibility with upstream raw water variability
Optimized sludge handling and chemical dosing

Whether as part of a full treatment train or a standalone module, Roperberk’s clarification systems ensure stable, clean water for the processes that follow.
